Part-time Student Research Assistant in the Department of Law (Ref.: 500378) (to commence as soon as possible for 2 months, with the possibility of renewal)

Applicants should be current undergraduate or postgraduate students in law, gender study or related disciplines in Hong Kong and should have basic understanding of gender equality and civil society. They should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin), and be able to work in a collaborative team environment. Familiarity with social media platform maintenance is an advantage.  

The appointee is expected to work on China law research projects and China law training projects for lawyers and law students related to women’s rights in Mainland China; and will provide support to the research team and training team by conducting literature review, helping project officers to organize workshops and seminars and editing the project’s website. The post will provide a good opportunity for professional growth by working closely with the Research Lead and Training Lead. The student shall work for not more than 10 hours per week.
